Jenni Harrison, Independent Board Member
Jenni has worked in research and technology for more than 20 years as an academic, executive and consultant.
Jenni returned to Scotland in late 2022 after spending more than a decade in Australia working in a variety of technology leadership roles. Jenni is currently directing a programme of digital enablement and data within NHS Scotland.
She is passionate about all forms of education but is particularly interested in how digital technology can promote inclusion. Jenni also actively supports women in STEM as well as academia and has chaired Athena Swan Groups at Dundee and Curtin Universities.
Jenni is a qualified company director and formerly Chaired a charity based in Western Australia which actively enabled education for disadvantaged girls. Jenni also served on the University of Western Australia’s academic board from 2012 – 2016. Jenni is currently a Trustee of Dynamic Earth as well as Perth and Kinross Foodbank. Jenni is also part of the Data Skills Gateway Advisory Board members, which The University of Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt University are delivering as part of the Edinburgh and Southeast Scotland City Region Deal.
