What is special about this course?
This NQ incorporates 3 disciplines, Administration, Business and Accounting, giving students the opportunity to learn and develop skills in each. For example, Marketing, Enterprise Skills, Finance, Time Management, Spreadsheets, Databases and Word Processing. On successful completion of the course, learners will be able to either go into employment or transition into Higher Education. For example, HNC Business, HNC Accounting or HNC Administration and Information Technology.
Entry requirements
Ideally candidates should have completed 4 years of secondary school.
Managing Time, Resources and Well Being; Communication, Numeracy, Word Processing, Skills for Customer Care, Marketing: Basic Principles and Applications, Recording Cash Transactions, IT Solutions for Administrators, Enterprise Skills, Economics of the Market, Preparing Management Accounting Information, Contract Law and Personal Development Planning.

Fees
Most full-time students will have their fees paid.
Students on part-time courses may also be eligible to have their course fees waived.
What can I do on completion of my course?
On successful completion of the course, you should be able to progress to HNC Business, HNC Accounting or HNC Administration and Information Technology.
You will be qualified to find work as an administrative assistant, in a junior clerical position or as a receptionist. This level of qualification should also help you to find a job as a clerical or retail assistant within the public or private business sector.
