Hairdressing (Work-based) SVQ2
What is special about this course?
Learn while you work with Modern Apprenticeships (MAs) and Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs). Modern apprenticeships in Scotland are available for people who are aged over 16 and in employment. With on-the-job training and regular meetings in the workplace you can gain a recognised qualification without studying full-time. Funding for MAs can be gained from Skills Development Scotland.
The SVQ 2 Hairdressing qualification will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to begin your career in hairdressing. If you enjoy working with people in an exciting industry where you constantly gain a sense of achievement, hairdressing can unlock your creative potential. This is the ideal qualification for getting a full range of basic hairdressing skills.
