Our International Induction Programme will ensure that you have all the information you need for your studies and your new life in Perth. We’re here to help you make the most of your time in Scotland and get to know other students to ensure you enjoy your student life. We have established an International Students’ Social Programme, which enables you to visit places of historical and cultural interest or participate in a wide range of outdoor adventure activities.
You can access our International Student Centre located alongside all key student support services. You can also enjoy our impressive range of services and facilities from salons to study centres and a quiet room for prayer. Our hospitality partner can provide Halal ready meals on request.
Our staff will help with any questions you might have, from advice on choosing the right course for you and finding accommodation to any questions you may have about money or health. International students joining our British Council accredited Language School are offered to option to live with a local homestay family. All our families are screened and vetted. They offer a warm and friendly welcome, bed, breakfast and an evening meal plus lunch at weekends. With a homestay family, you always have someone to practice your English conversation.

Living Cost
Our homestay accommodation rates are very affordable and competitive, from as little as £140 per week you can enjoy our half-board basis, which will allow you to fully embrace the Scottish culture and enjoy all meals with your homestay family. For the lower rate of £95 you can opt for the self-catering option.
Language School courses:
Groups of 6-12 students can come for between 2-8 weeks at various points during the academic year (Sept-Oct, Oct – Dec, Jan-Feb, Feb-Mar) and will be placed in mixed nationality classes. We also run a Summer School in August. Excursions can be arranged at weekends and activities provided mid-week. Accommodation is with homestay families.
The price including full-board accommodation is approximately £450 per person, per week and is variable to group requirements.
We also offer short-term non-English programmes in
- Engineering including Aircraft Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Systems.
- Management including Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Food Studies and Hospitality and Sport and Fitness.
- Creative Industries including Music and Music Business and Audio Engineering and Theatre Arts.
Entry requirements for non-English Language courses:
- For entry to courses below degree level, we require an IELTS (Academic) score of at least 5.5 with no component below 5.0.
- For entry to courses at undergraduate degree level, we require an IELTS (Academic) score of at least 6.0 with no component below 5.5.
Semester Abroad Tuition Fees for non-English Language Courses:
- Arts-based courses: £5,825 (1 Semester)
- Engineering-based courses: £6,400 (1 Semester)
