Economic impact of Scottish colleges report
Commenting on The Cumberford-Little report, published on Thursday 13 February by the Scottish Government
Dr Margaret Cook, Perth College UHI Principal and Chief Executive, said:
"This report was commissioned to consider the economic impact of colleges in Scotland. We are pleased that the excellent work taking place right across the thriving college sector to support our students, local communities, and businesses has been showcased.
“While we successfully support a wide range of Scottish Government national priorities, we also recognise the challenges and constraints we face as a collective sector. We are committed to considering the recommendations aimed at allowing colleges to make a still greater contribution to business growth, ultimately impacting on the economic and social growth of our region and on a national level.”
