Strike Action Information
EIS/FELA have called for industrial action related to the September 2022 and September 2023 pay deal which is agreed through national bargaining.
We have been advised that this will take place at UHI Perth on the following dates;
- 20 May 2024
- 23 May 2024
- 28 May 2024
- 30 – 31 May 2024
- 3 – 5 June 2024
- 7 June 2024
- 11 – 14 June 2024
- 17 June 2024
- 19 – 21 June 2024
- 24 – 25 June 2024
- 27 – 28 June 2024
All college buildings will remain open.
Classes Timetabled on Strike Days
- All classes will be cancelled unless your lecturer informs you that it will be either time-tabled as usual, or any other alternative, including online or self-directed study in some cases. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with your personal academic tutor (PAT) for further advice and guidance.
What is UHI Perth doing about this?
- We are working hard to minimise the impact on you and your studies caused by the industrial action by continuing to support the ongoing negotiations and strongly hope that further discussions can resolve the national pay dispute and bring the industrial action to an end.
