No prior esports experience? No problem! Whether you're a casual gamer or a competitive player, this unit will equip you with essential industry knowledge, career pathways, and digital skills to thrive in esports.
This Group awards goal is to introduce learners to E-Sports. It is split into three components - Game performance, Industry and Event Promotions.
Game performance will include topics like PC configuration and optimisation for E-Sport, Successful gameplay strategies and the analysis of team performance.
E-Sports Industry contains the history of E-Sports the characteristics of successful E-Sports games and defines the roles within the industry whilst building a strong digital presence that protecting your team and yourself in the online world.
The final component of the award is events promotion and organisation where learners will be required to run and manage an esports event for a wider audience.
By the end of this course, you'll have the expertise to take your first step into esports—whether as a player, strategist, or industry professional. Start your journey today and turn your passion into a profession!

- The history, organising bodies and tournaments, streaming, game genres, competitive games, and Esports careers.
Esports: Game Performance
- Hardware and Software used in competitive Exports games and online streaming. Tactics and roles within Esports teams. Team performance and review.
Esports: Organising & Promoting Events
- Successful planning for Esports tournaments, considering all aspects of marketing and branding, merchandising, and sponsorship. Event management covering working with venues and streaming platforms.
