About this course
About this course
This National Progression Award (NPA) allows learners to study criminology, including the complex nature of crime and the problems of measuring crime. The NPA is purely coursework, no final exam.
The course is aimed at those progressing from the NPA L5 or those who have relevant qualifications wishing to pick up the subject with a view to studying Criminology at Higher Eductaion level after school.
Furthermore, it is an excellent choice for those wishing to go into the Police, the Criminal Justice System or the HM Prison Service. The benefits of this course are that it does not have to be solely career focussed, those of you who are among the millions of crime enthusiasts in popular fiction can come along and learn the academic theory behind your favourite shows.
