Simon teaches the IT in Business: Word Processing and Presentations course.

I’m Simon Fraser and I have been a tutor at UHI Perth for 14 years, having graduated here as a Computing degree student. I love supporting our students with their courses and am always happy to help! I’m also a lecturer for our Full Time students studying Business and Accounting.

The IT in Business: Word Processing and Presentations course has a mix of learning methods, including face to face and online learning, so it is a good introduction to different methods of learning that you may not have experienced in school.

I especially enjoy teaching young people because I enjoy helping people learn new skills and also to help them to find a subject that could potentially lead to a career.

It is important to choose a course you feel that you will enjoy.  It will be much easier to engage with the course and get more out of it if it is a subject that you get at least some enjoyment from.
