Lorna Carr studied Beauty Therapy at Cumbernauld College where she achieved her HND in Beauty Therapy.
She gained eight years industry experience by becoming a beauty business owner, where she built a thriving business within her local community. She began to lecture in 2008 and has worked in many colleges throughout Scotland. She has been an associate assessor with UWS Business Degree in Enterprise. She was also involved in two European projects that focussed on Vocational and Work Ready Skills.
Lorna has both A1 and Vi awards, Advanced PDA in Learning and teaching and completed her TQFE at Dundee University.
Special interests are: Complementary Therapies; Anatomy & Physiology; Advanced Facial and Body Therapies; and Nail Technologies.
