Before coming to college, I was in high school, finishing my 6th year. I chose HNC Beauty Therapy because I've always had an interest in beauty. I wanted to make people feel good about themselves, which the treatments we learn can help with.

My favourite thing about the course was probably Aromatherapy because I enjoy creating blends that meet my client's needs. I also liked Gel Nail Enhancements as it's something I've always enjoyed, and I've been able to learn what my nail technicians have been doing for my nails too.

On campus, I liked how modern the ASW building is, and I also liked going up to Brahan to the cafeteria and shop. I wished there wasn't such a big hill up to it though! It's also nice that there are places to sit around outside when it's sunny, on the grass or at tables.

I would definitely advise that you pick something you know you'll enjoy, that goes for any college or university. And also, to use the facilities available around the college, and make the most of your experience.
