The Newton Hotel, Nairn, Scotland; 2007
13-15 November 2007
This conference brought together and presented good practice examples of spatial planning processes, using case studies from across Northern Europe and further afield. It was the final event of SpatialNorth, an Interreg IIIB project involving regions with peripheral characteristics, in Scotland, Iceland, Sweden and Finland. The project outcomes, including a toolbox of spatial planning good practices, were presented. The conference focused on international themes on day one and two, and on the Highlands and Islands of Scotland on day three.
