"Before starting my MSc, I was conducting research at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig UHI. Perth College UHI offered flexible study and distance learning which allowed me to fit my MSc into my busy work schedule.
I have enjoyed researching the issues and pressures impacting on mountain communities around the world and realising the opportunities for sustainable development in Scotland’s upland areas. It has been great to interact and engage (albeit online) with a range of interesting fellow students from all over the world.
Upon completing the course, I plan to develop my career in environmental science, research and application. I would encourage anyone thinking about this course to embrace the opportunity for further learning and enjoy the journey."
