Testimonial:

Working in pastoral roles in boarding schools, combined with employment in the textile industry, led Helen to combine her passions, and gain qualified Teacher Status for Home Economics. During her time as a Home Economics teacher, Helen was increasingly asked to mentor student and probationer teachers, which led into the natural progression to UHI onto our Food, Nutrition & Textiles Education programme, training the Food and Textiles teachers of the future.

Helen also continues to run sewing classes in Perth.
