Research interests
As a psychology lecturer based at UHI Perth, I teach across a range of degree programmes including BA Social Sciences, BA Criminology, MSc Applied Social Sciences: Globalisation and Crime, BSc Psychology and MSc Psychology Conversion. I am also an active researcher at present with specific interests in adult missing persons and have previously conducted research in collaboration with Police Scotland and the Scottish Institute of Policing Research (SIPR).
In addition to my current research on missing persons and missing behaviour, my broader research interests lie firmly within the fields of forensic, criminal and investigative psychology and in particular, how psychology can help to inform evidence-based policing and practice.
