Audio Engineering students selected to work at BBC Question Time

Two BSc Audio Engineering students have been selected to work at the upcoming BBC Question Time in Glasgow on the 21 October.

Steve Kayiranga and Jamie Allan, both Year 4 students, will be operating the boom microphones for the audience.

Programme Lead, David Paterson said: “This is a great opportunity for our students to progress into permanent employment within the growing broadcast industry. We have recently been in discussion with Cloud Bass, an outside broadcast production company, to ensure that our graduate students gain the skills to enter this exciting sector.”
