Director discusses Resilience after catastrophic fire
Mike Benson, Director at The Scottish Crannog Centre will discuss business resilience at a prestigious Regional Employer Event after the catastrophic fire that destroyed the crannog in June 2021.
In partnership with Perth and Kinross Council (PKC) Skills and Employability Initiatives Team and DWP, UHI Perth are hosting a free Community Jobs Fayre and Regional Employer Event at their Crieff Road campus to connect the community with local businesses and students on Tuesday 30 May.
Mike has been Director at The Scottish Crannog Centre for five years having previously led three other museums in the north of England. Before working in museums, Mike spent 28 years working on shifts in the steelworks on Teesside.
Also just announced is the addition of a session hosted by Peachy Creative Media who will discuss the Power of Social Media Marketing. Keynote Speaker, Alison Edgar will host a session on entrepreneurship alongside UHI Perth alumni who have gone on to set up successful businesses after graduating. John Ferguson, Head of Strategy at Binn Eco Park will discuss the Tay Cities Clean Growth Deal.
The Community Jobs Fayre is ideal for anyone looking for employment or interested in a change of career. The Community Jobs Fayre and Regional Employer Event on Tuesday 30 May, 9am – 3pm will be held at the Academy of Sport and Wellbeing, UHI Perth and is free and open to everyone.
