Café Tabou Announces Perth College UHI Scholarship
Café Tabou announces a partnership with Perth College UHI to provide an excellent learning opportunity for a local student.
The Café Tabou Scholarship was recently formalised with the College’s management and this investment offers a lucky cookery student both work experience and training with Tabou’s business partner and Master Chef of Great Britain Marek Michalak and his team.
Perth College UHI SVQ Professional Cookery Level 3 student James Ross (aged 19) working in Café Tabou said: “I’m thoroughly enjoying working in Café Tabou and definitely learning a lot from Marek and the team in the busy kitchen”.
Commenting on the Scholarship, business partner and Master Chef of Great Britain Marek Michalak said: “The start of 2016 is perfect timing for bringing James into the team as we have an experienced kitchen team that work well together and this allows us all to give James the training time he deserves. He will be an active member of the team during his learning programme with us and will most definitely enjoy lots of hands-on experience with us. We’re delighted to be working with Perth College UHI in developing our local talent in what is a competitive industry sector”.
