College participates in Doors Open Day for the first time
On Saturday 16 September, we participated for the first time in the national Doors Open Day initiative, coordinated locally by Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust and supported by the Gannochy Trust.
Over 90 visitors enjoyed tours of the campus and took part in climbing centre tasters, flight simulator sessions, art workshops, beauty therapy tasters and children’s activities. In addition, students and staff presented a range of projects including HN Sport and Fitness students' work in care homes and Creative Industries students' environmental improvements in Tulloch. There were also displays on the history of the College in the Union-Link.
A number of older visitors commented that they had lived in Perth all of their lives, but had never set foot on the campus and had no idea of the breadth and quality of the facilities available to our students. The feedback was very positive and provided locals and those from further afield with an insight into "What's Behind the Wall".
