Students benefit from employers event

Food Studies and Hospitality students met with a range of local employers to gain a unique insight into how to secure their dream career.

The Employers Event on 13 November, held at The Salutation Hotel allowed students to meet with industry representatives including: The Salutation Hotel, The Mercure, McDiarmid Park, Gleneagles Hotel, Ballathie House Hotel, Macdonald Hotels, Sodexo, Glenalmond College, Crieff Hydro Hotel and Tabla Restaurant.

Ian Gibb, Perth College UHI Food Studies and Hospitality Sector Manager explained: “Our students took the opportunity to ask employers about the industry and its people and how to gain a successful and exciting career in this rewarding growth industry.”
