Olympic Gold medallist curler, Mili Smith visits Perth College UHI

Local hero and Team GB's Olympic Gold medallist curler, Mili Smith visited Perth College UHI on Thursday 26 May.

She chatted with sports students and showed them her medal from the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022.
A previous Perth College UHI Social Sciences student, Mili, from Perth, said: “It was great to meet the sports students and help inspire them in their future career.

Mili’s visit was part of the Sport and Fitness Work Experience Fair which brought together a number of industry representatives to offer paid/intern opportunities and to share wisdom to the students.

Iain Stewart, organiser and Sport and Fitness Lecturer said: “A huge thanks to everyone who gave up their time to help steer our students into the great careers paths this industry offers."
