Student awarded prestigious Hospitality accolade
Lorraine McMillan, from Perth College, has won the Institute of Hospitality Scotland Quaich award 2022 for being an outstanding student on the HND in Professional Cookery with Management course.
Presented by Chair of IoH Scotland, Andrew Thomson FIH, the award recognises Lorraine’s excellent attendance, attitude, commitment, and graded unit marks throughout her course.
The Quaich, Scotland’s cup of friendship was presented by Gary Silcock, General Manager, and and this year’s sponsor Murrayshall Hotel.
The award, created by IoH Scotland, many years ago, in conjunction with all the colleges and universities in Scotland, was resurrected in 2021, after the disruption of the pandemic.
Congratulations to Lorraine on her fantastic achievement. She also receives a one-year’s membership of the IoH.
