German visit discusses importance of industry skills

The Hessian Committee of Research and Arts, based in Germany were welcomed to Perth College UHI.

Organised by the Perth College UHI Director of Partnerships - Lin Shen, Veronica Lynch (Vice Principal, Perth College UHI) and Heidi Hope (Sector Manager, Science, Engineering and Aviation) the importance of Apprenticeships in Scotland was one of the main topics of interest. 

They also discussed how Perth College UHI, as a tertiary institution, utilises apprenticeships and work-based learning approaches to address regional industry skills needs.
